Largest sections without fuel are:

  1. 191kms Wentworth to Customs House (Vic/SA border)
  2. 220km Euston to Mildura

For many towns it can be 1km or so walk to the servo to get fuel. Taking a trolley can be useful, I have also carried them and caught lifts in the past. We provide trolleys for when you take one of our tinnys for a trip.

Best time of year.

  • Avoid the peak of summer
  • Take into account fire bans (SA and Vic have different laws and times)
